We loved our time at the Fox cottage! The location is amazing — only a 5-10 min walk to cozy coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping in downtown Black Mountain. We didn’t use our car at all while we were there except to go hiking. The hot tub, sauna, and fire pit were lovely at the end of the day, and the fully fenced-in backyard was private and perfect for our dog. The beds were SO comfortable, with lots of extra blankets. We also appreciated the dog friendly amenities including dog bowls that were all set up to use. We will absolutely be back!!!

Alayna's home is expertly planned for a great Airbnb experience. It's trendy and interesting decor, super clean, and well thought out. The TV has a "renter" log-in that signs out of your streaming services when you leave, there's a doggy nook with water bowls and treats, and towels just for the hot tub. Really appreciated the two different mattress types and the great water pressure.
Back yard was great for our dog, doggy bags even provided. Black Mountain is a great area and while it's about a mile walk into town, there's a great small lake and park nearby. Saturday morning there was pickleball and a great running path. A YMCA and Ingles 5 minutes away and a very easy drive into Asheville.

Alayna’s place was amazing! Super clean, very close to downtown. We actually walked to breakfast on Monday. The sauna and jacuzzi were awesome. We will definitely stay again! Black Mountain is a gorgeous town with so many great restaurants and places to visit.

The Blue Fox cottage was absolute perfection! 💯 This is now one of my favorite places to stay in Black Mountain!
The inside is tastefully updated with high quality linens, fixtures, and amenities. Everything was so comfortable from the plush towels, cozy blankets, and comfortable furniture. Lots of small details were appreciated, such as the dog treats/blankets/bowls, smores station, and supplied firewood.
The yard was a dream set up for entertaining. Fenced for your fur babies to run around while you take advantage of the hot tub, sauna, and fireplace.
Will definitely be back and wished I could have stayed longer! ❤️🐾

We loved our weekend getaway to Black Mountain. Such a hidden little gem with fabulous restaurants and local shopping. The Red Fox Cottage was absolutely beautiful with vintage vibe. The location was peaceful and quiet. There was lots to do - board games, corn hole, ring toss and an amazing hot tub. We are already planning our next trip back to stay longer in this cottage.

Great place to stay! Super clean and comfortable. The backyard was a dream for our toddler and two dogs. We really enjoyed the proximity to the downtown area. So close to everything and easily walkable!

The cottage was pristine and meticulously cared for and set up to make guests have the easiest possible stay with everything you need labeled clearly and in excellent condition. The hosts were proactive and helpful in making a major adjustment to our stay due to circumstances that I won’t get into, but suffice to say they vert kindly made an adjustment for us that required a financial hit on their end that most hosts would have refused or at minimum expressed displeasure over. This is a great choice for a couple or small family looking to be close to downtown activity in a safe space. The cottage is clearly a labor of love and cared for with pride.

We so enjoyed our stay at The Red Fox Cottage- we can’t wait to come back! Immaculate inside and out- so clean and well kept- so much so it is almost hard to believe we weren’t the first guests to stay at the cottage! Location is walking distance to Lake Tomahawk- and quick drive into Black Mountain. The hot tub (which was pristine) was great after our day of hiking/biking. Thank you for a terrific stay- we can’t wait to come again.
